On Sunday, I made Meatballs Pasta Dish:

  • 1.5 lbs of grounded beef (the fresh type, not the icey packaged type)
  • fine minced green onion and white onion
  • well mixed together with salt and pepper
  • shape the meat to the size that you like.

raw meatballs

  • white mushrooms: wash, let them dry and then sliced them up.

sliced mushroom

  • heat the pan up with oil in it
  • smashed garlic and broil it until it’s golden brown
  • take out the garlic but leave the hot oil in the pan

garlic

  • broil the meatballs until they are evenly lightly brown on the outside by using medium fire.

broiling

  • Then on the different pan, you can use any type of pasta sauce you like (purchase at a local market), mix with a half cup of finely diced onion, add sugar to taste and then add mushroom.

This is my dish!  Although, the picture doesn’t do its justice but it’s tasted pretty good.

So, I cooked on both Saturday and Sunday nights but now have time to upload the pictures up.  I’m not the type of person who likes to cook–in short, I don’t cook.  Maybe the change of the weather has changed my personality a bit because I enjoy cooking lately.

I plan to make cánh gà chiên bơ this coming Thursday.

This dish - yum!  I had this before and now so hook on it.   The taste is just right.  It’s not too sweet, not too sour, just crunchy and right.

It seems pretty easy to do. Although I don’t cook but this, I will try this weekend but will not include Cheese in it.  I just don’t like cheese.

Broccoli Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 6 to 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup raisins, optional
  • 8 ounces sharp Cheddar, cut into very small chunks
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Trim off the large leaves from the broccoli stem. Remove the tough stalk at the end and wash broccoli head thoroughly. Cut the head into flowerets and the stem into bite-size pieces. Place in a large bowl. Add the crumbled bacon, onion, raisins if using, and cheese. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, stirring well. Add to broccoli mixture and toss gently.
