The beauty of life is, while we cannot undo what is done,
we can see it, understand it, learn from it and change.
So that every new moment is spent not in regret, guilt, fear or anger,
but in wisdom, understanding and love. - Jennifer Edwards

Dusk
upon the passing of summer
desolation still lingered
coasting along the boundless roads
my soul feeling no longer my ownunable to finish a single song
while fatigue still left its circles
in the realm of love, pain is never avoidable
stunning as the dusk is, night will always follow
recalling the farewell spoken from your lips, stern as steel
within shadows lurks a phantom pain of burns by scorching sun
the horizon under dusk
draws out a line of good bye
love falls into eternal night
recalling the tears escaping your eyes, torn in despair
within chaos lurk a phantom pain of burns by scalding tears
the horizon under dusk
severs joy and bliss
romance forever extinguished
