I have my blog up again only to notice that the resurrection date is today–May 25.  Now, if things have gone the way it was planned, I would have been Mrs. Tran for the past three years.  The significance about May 25th is linked back to half a decade ago when I met my ex-boyfriend.  Everything about us was May 25: official dating date, propose date and planned wedding date etc.–yeah, all of that happened in two years.

It’s funny how one person out of 6.5 billion souls, you decided to dedicate your life, faith, and soul to.  Sounds like selling your soul to Satan, hah?  Well, it’s worse than that! It’s because of your willingness, passion, and dedication and yet wished for nothing to be given in return.  No bargaining.  No negotiating.  Nothing.  If that person had wronged you, you let it go.  You let the wound heals.  You forgive and forget.  Because of that one person, you’ve become the biggest altruistic and yet the most pathetic person, you’ve never known in your entire life.  But because of that one person, you’ve found the most fabulous and happiest person within yourself.  Because of that one person, you’ve found the best in you, and that my friends, is the most wonderful feeling in the world one has ever experienced.

Downside?  Sometimes it lasts, sometimes it doesn’t.  Some are lucky to experience it the rest of their lives.  Some are not.  I belong to the majority–the are not!  But have faith in life and give much energy to love, for I, fully and truly believe, they will come back two folds.
